DSPACK section

DSPACK stores data in two separate sections - section 1 is meant for short term data and would usually be cleared before each event is processed, section 2 is permanent and should be used to store constants. More sections may be defined if necessary. DSPACK treats all sections in the same way with one exception: when reading DSPACK file or tape data are read-in into section 1 and, if necessary copied to the appropriate section. This allows the existing data sets in sections other than section 1 to be overwritten by the data from input. In the output data from different sections are stored in separate records - generated by separate calls of the output routine. Usually the section 2 would be written out twice, at the beginning and at the end of the output file, section 1 would be written out after each event.
