Preliminary NA49 result on p - pbar rapidity distribution in central Pb on Pb collisions derived from the '+' - '-' subtraction method. Efficiency, acceptance, and physics corrections have been applied. In comparison, the unfiltered p - pbar rapidity distribution is shown for central RQMD events.
